Nooooooooo. Its good to get away from everything for a while. I remember the good old days before you could be contacted 24/7 by everyone you didn't want to be contacted by *sighs* the days when dates, piss-ups and most everything else was done verbally and kept to under pain of death - not like today where you get a text at the last minute saying something like: I cant make it tonight because my cat is unwell

I have an Ipod touch (same thing except no phone) and I love it to bits. But I would never get an iphone with O2 given their outrageous call plans. When their prices drop to a reasonable level I might consider it.

It's good. Mine's a first generation, but there's a nice lot of apps out there that really add depth to the device. It's not so much a MP3 player as a general entertainment device. My real gripe with it, however, is itunes (quelle suprise!) which has basically mutilated my music library. it simply wont sync some songs (or ever read some songs) and others it will read and sync twice... it's really rather annoying.

lol @ RZL

Hmmm you might need to wipe it and restore the songs or something. I use mine for the apps and the web. Still using old firmware cos its jailbroken but I might upgrade it soon and get the new app store stuff.

I got one of the 3g iPhones when they came out last year. You can add the txt bundles so not too bad. I have jailbroken it so I can use Snapture the better camera app, 9see what I can do now! http://pix.ie/djspider!) as well as using shazam, and the video app. I also don't use 3g as it does run the battery down. i find it pretty good on battery use, I use the iPod app every day for about 3 hrs and it still stays fairly well cahrged. I do find using 3g, wi fi and chaecking for new emails run iot down.

Basically unless you are someone who gets 50 emails an hour what is the pioint of it checking for you? Anwya I am a little one over the eight, so I will say goodnight and jailbreak your phone, then don't have to use iTunes! (yes I hate it as well, especially as I am a DJ and have over 50K tunes!)
