Hi Guys,
Thank you all for your interest in Galway Gay Pride. Undoubtably the publicity we have been receiving is not exactly what we would have hoped for, however, with that in mind we would like to point out in the coming days we will be announcing events to Commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Stonewall and the 20th Anniversary of Galway Gay Pride. With that in mind the Bród Ireland West Committee is focusing on the immence organisational task that is Galway Gay Pride.
The Bród Ireland West Committee is open to suggestions and ideas from any quarter and operates on an open door policy. We plan to run an open and inclusive Pride Festival and with that in mind, going forward, we intend to focus on the events that will be offered as part of Galway Gay Pride 2009.
Thanks again,
Joann Chairperson Bród Ireland West

Good work at addressing the actual issue here. Burying your heads in the sand will not solve this.
58 members and growing every day. Instead of organising events that many (including myself) will not go to, due to the lack of any maturity on both sides to resolve this issue, why don't you sort this issue out and make sure that Galways 20th Brod isn't a complete farce and embarrassment to the gay community in galway.
