I was watching Sci-fi last night and seen that they announced that Eastwick would be coming soon on the Hallmark channel.

Being the impatient lil fecker that I am I decided to go have a look for it online.

And yes as you are probably already thinking it has to do with the movie "The Witches of Eastwick"

It is a new TV series which follows the lives of three women who unbeknown to themselves have magical powers, that is until they are one day drawn together and freak stuff starts happening (kinda like Charmed...lol).

Anyway after their coming together a mysterious stranger comes to town Darryl Van Horne and from this point on things only get more and more bizzare.

It is actually really good...good drama...good comedy... definitely one to watch out for!

And from reading around it is based on the same book as the witches of eastwick
The fact its cancelled isnt always a sign that it was bad (Studio 60 imho was absolultely excellent), just that it didnt get enough viewers I suppose, I will probably still check it out

Yeah I liked it...

It was kinda like Desperate Housewives meets Charmed.

Oh and it had the Devil in it.

Saw the first episode which was alright (if a little off in parts) but I decided to wait and see if it got cancelled before I committed. Glad I waited.
