36 YO GAY MALE FROM MAYO

The old captains lounge on Anne street (above the little wing pizza parlour) has been renovated by the owners of Murials and the spaniard to bring one and all a new gay bar and club. I went to the opening night last week and it is a great little club. Its aiming for an older patronage with no drag queens or shite music. Anyways, if you're about pop in!

If you want Gaire people to go we will require more information:

Do you have a door/drink price list?
What music do they play if not pop? Is it bad dance music?
What are the toilets like?
Can I have a quiet conversation in there?
Is it bright enough to have a sign conversation?
Will they reduce the music if necessary?
Is it equally male and female friendly?
I see they have a no drag queen policy - what about CD/TG/TV punters?
Is it ok to go if you are straight?
What about if you are not out - is the entrance on a main street?
What money would you recommend we bring? Would 2 10-pound notes, 1 20-pound note, 3 5-pound notes, 7 pound in 1-pound coins, 2 50p coins, and 7 10p coins suffice?
Is there a dress code?
Can an area be reserved?

Probably not as old as that. From what i see, it's aimed at the 30+ who do not like the scene. It's a pretty regular bar with a dance floor and good music. If you've been to the spaniard, it's along that line.
