I haven't seen any blog, so how can you claim I saw it in the blog?



WE don't have to, but some of us may choose to. I know I can't end discrimination for everyone, so know if we wait until discrimination ends, i'll be waiting forever. If some folks want to discriminate againse me, then thats their choice, I can only react to them and can't preempt them.

It is needed to get a (community) license, which Open FM have, to define the community of interest you are broadcasting too, this is a criteria to get this license from the BCI (or what ever they our called now) I think that is what is ment by "first licensed LGBT radio station.

And just to be clear, they do not call themselves an LGBT radio.
We used the term in our blog on Gaire (which you may have read: http://gaire.com/e/b/article.asp?id=3906).
They define themselves as mainly catering for the LGBT community, but being open to all on FM.

They started an emergency fund raise 66 hours before the planned airing() and didn't make the target so think it was shelved

they didnt advertise multi fund raise very well , was not on this, gcn, or queerid, didnt see it advertised in Outhouse or any gay pubs, I didnt hear about it, would have given cash,

It looks like they only launched their appeal on the 66 hour mark. Don't remember hearing about any other fundraising during the year, so don't know what they were playing at. Hope the people who did donate got their money back.
