So Leo looks to be almost certain to be our first openly gay Taoiseach. He's a bit right wing for me but sure it's still a change from the straight, white boy from Clongowes.

It doesnt make any difference if he is gay or straight just as it wouldnt make any difference if it was a woman ,
Hes a FG politician and he will follow FG policies .
He will probably get married and guess what it wont change the way he does his job , imagine that .

He seems like a smart guy but I wonder how well he will tolerate pundits and rivals questioning his every move, particularly as he was so fond of doing that himself.
