I've posted this in other threads but Gaire has really changed my life. When I first joined I didn't know what being gay 'meant'. I didn't have any gay friends, I've never been to a gay bar...I'd never kissed a guy. Now I'm a whore! (joking!)

Gaire gave me the confidence to go to gay bars, talk to gay guys etc in my own time and I got to know people on here before I meet them in real life. I wouldn't know where my life would be without having had Gaire in my life.

It completely changed my life. It was the space in which I could really get my head around my sexuality and talk about how I felt, as well as get to know a whole bunch of great people.

I may be too emotionally dependent on Gaire in a way because so much of my life has revolved around Gaire for over 10 years. But it has been great ..,and it still makes me laugh.

Likewise - so much of my life revolves around people I've met on here - most of them don't post any more but without Gaire I would never have met them.

Nine years on here oh my god, I was messed for the first 4 years or so but nobody judged me well not to my face anyway, I joined just after my mam died then my brother died I ended up on the game at 18 and on drugs, I'd no were to turn but gaire I'd so many rants on here, so many great nights out not that I'd remember half of them but that was then. I'm now sober 5 years next week planing on getting married running a business. Life is great

Well done, HotViv!

Not sure if you remember but we actually met once at one Gaire meet (I can't remember when exactly, but maybe around 2005/2006/2007.

I'm glad to know you are doing so well now.
