S In other words, up to 9 month , the embryo has no "self-sustaining" characteristics, and termination should be available without any question being asked.
- 9 to 12 month is when the fetal stage starts, till the end of the first trimester...

Did you mean "weeks"?

Most of the stuff i came across was fake or exaggerated.. This one i believe is genuine.. in this case an ectopic pregnancy is dealt with & rightly so.. But that's what a twelve week old foetus looks like..

The Government won't release the details of the legislation until after the referendum too prevent bias.. How can you conscientiously vote on something when you have no idea what it's repercussions might be..?

a) where you did you get that from?
b) if they release something, it will be a draft, like they did on Marriage: then the Oireachtas will have the job to amend and vote it. And that will depend on hwo and where the debate goes!

Your "info" sounds like scare mongering, when we do not even have the wording of the referendum:
- Will it simply remove some articles (that were added y the 8th and subsequent Amendements, you cannot simply "remove the 8th"...) that were aimed at equating the "life" of the unborn and the life/choice of the mother;
- Replace existing provisions to clarify things;
- Add new provisions to positively protect women's choices/lives.

Where did you hear about that cover-up conspiration?

There is no way to know what the Dáil will be ready to legislate on, and in what terms. Unless you prefer living in a dictature where you are told word for word what the Parliament will vote after a debate that copied and pasted the will of the leaders.

All points to the legislation will be based on various reports that triggered this referendum. I personally think that there will be some sort of draft published, but I would not be shocked if most of it was finalized afterwards, based on the results and on the actual debate!

Minister for Health Simon Harris will brief his colleagues on the recommendations of the Oireachtas committee [to] allow for abortions up to 12 weeks into a pregnancy without restriction.

No formal decision will be taken at Tuesday’s meeting [...]

The Minister will also advise of the desire to publish draft legislation at the same time as the Referendum Bill to outline clearly what law would be enacted in the event of the amendment being repealed.

What part of that suggests they will not publish draft legislation?

Congratulation!
In an amazing turnabout, the gvt is now actively working on such legislation.

Thanks to your active political activism and canvassing, the Minister finally caved in and tried to make it look like he intended to publish that draft legislation all along...

Health Minister Simon Harris will today tell his colleagues that in order for a referendum to be held on May 25 or June 1 he must begin work on potential new laws immediately.

Because a referendum leads to legislation, not the other way round?

It is indeed lazy to jump to conclusion when you read or hear report that seem to support/meet your opinion, without somehow checking it.
The likelihood is that you either you misunderstood the report, or that it was quoting some opposition wack-job making wild uninformed accusation.
