Cats - How To Get Rid Of Them

# 1 : Monday 4-8-2008 @ 23:31

My neighbours bought their spoilt brat a kitten. She lost it. So they bought her another one. The first one re-appeared. The 2 kittens are now sadly alone in the garden, with little food, no care and.. em, well.. rather limited toilet facilities (think bluebottles when I open my back door).

The kittens are growing and have started coming into my garden. I have a lot of wild birds and these are now disappearing. The cats just sit on the fence and watch. The cats do not have collars/bells.

How do I stop these semi-wild cats from coming into my garden? Before all the wild birds go elsewhere?
Thanks.

A good pet shop should sell cat repellent. usually a spray of some sort. or turn on the sprinklers!

Serious though, catch them and bring them to the cats and dogs home. They'll rehouse them with someone who'll look after them.

you can't really go stealing the neighbours cats and get them rehoused because they come into your yard. just call the R.S.P.C.A

If they're being neglected you could. But calling the DSPCA is a better idea.

PS, Jackeen I can't believe you poison cats with bleach. You're one sick fuck

Have you asked your neighbours what they're going to do about them? Please ignore all the animal haters who responded - I think their suggestions speak volumes about them.

The DSPCA should be able to offer some real and sensible advice. The cats are being cats. That's what they do. They hunt birds, they excrete, they eat; may God forgive them!
