A Ride In A Rural Commuter Town Or Sex In The City?

# 31 : Wednesday 23-9-2009 @ 23:42

Capitalism is indeed an amorphic nebulism that frequently misuses the current prognosis that love and future are indeed dead. When you are at one with the other it is always preferable to go to the end of the present engagement and travel onward to posterity.
I could not agree with you more when you say that commuter carnal knowledge is a pun for modernity. You must be a very perceptive individual who transposes the present into the future !!!

Does anyone know how you go about bravely, assertively (not aggressively) and unwaveringly being yourself? Getting what you want? And in the process not hurting anyone?
Could Houdini do that?

You seem to be doing perfectly ok all by yourself.
Your just looking for love, in a word, and maybe because you have so much of it to give.
I'm not sure the interweb is a growing place for it though and you'll probably find all those things outside your own front door if you really wanted to.

True about the interweb.

However... finding things locally if you really wanted to... not always true.

About 99% of the time, the answers are to be found inside of yourself.

SEX.
You can’t get it. When you do you’re either used or the user.
And RELATIONSHIPS- Ha!
Now maybe I’m single too long but when did it get so difficult? So tick the box?
I would like sex but I’d rather have it with an overpriced falsely advertised mechanical device then settle for selling myself short, negotiate awkward silences, “masquerade” balls and being used.

I mean what the hell is this all about???
What has happened to people, that they view sex or relationships in such a cold way?
What ever happened to simply enjoying life, sexual experiences, relationships, without this utter bull and false baggage..
Jesus talk about ' Hi my Names Samantha' it's not real life ffs!!!!!!!!

i think my original point or at least one of them was that relatyionships have become devalued as have all forms of social interaction and this is problematic

Has it now, hmm interesting *scratches beard and licks pencil* tell me of this theory and how it is based on more than just your personal perceptions.

other then this being the general concensus within development theory particularly that relavant to modernity and post industrialism it is as you pointed out grounded in empirical reality, mine and i'm sure others. i'e the research is done take alook at it. however one is free to argue from a different perspective...
i think however you just dislike me or rather me opinion?! which is an entirely different and somewhat crazy, if resentful reason to get into a debate with someone you don't know over something i would assume from your responses you don't actually care about?
if my assessment of the situation is incorrect-mea culpa!

societies are continually changing, but maybe at the very core of it some things still remain the same. people still continue to fall in love for example, have relationships, form bonds and some people even manage to enjoy themselves while doing all these things (and some even when theyre not) I think eventually you find out what really matters to you.
