Why on earth do we have such horrendous flooding somewhere in the country every time we have a little bit of rain?

It's called really bad PLANNING if they planned to build a road or house beside a river or lake or Canal then you will have the result we have at the moment, we need the planners to think outside the water! Not with the easy paying guy who wants to build. or failing that build better flood defences, SIMPLES.

Usually if the wind is high, the powerlines are touching the trees and that causes the flickering!

Out where?

At Mam's house near(ish) New Ross.

It's now an eclectic mix of slight snowfall and intermittent sunshine.
