more a cynical put down, meant to be funny to those who don't have any of those illnesses.

I think its more carefully sardonic effort, designed to gently but firmly induce an awareness for the very people who suffer from those same illnesses.

I acknowledge your point.

I suppose its just a difference of opinion from different perspectives seen at different angles through the medium of wit.

Yeah, I think a vid like that axtually normalizes it. Better to laugh about it than think ur a bad person for having it say

Laugh, or pretend to, even though on the inside i'm dying, just so someone else won't feel oppressed by my being depressed and being such a downer because the upper makes me want to suppress, so another feels better?

I get your point, I'm going to smile through my tears regardless of my fears, because what they are are just illusions anyway.

And besides, humour is a superb way of creating self=awareness, allowing us to laugh at ourselves - the video is encouraging people to laugh - and thereby make them more cognisant of the possible distortions that are perpetuating their condition, whatever it might be. Humour can say awful and hurtful things and convey terrible truths in such a way that they are palatable, more acceptable.

Yes, but one can always laugh simply for oneself.

I watched that "You've got aids" song. Mental. Stewie is just pure mad with the shite they write for him. I wonder when he'll come out?

And if ya got tears... Yeah not a time to laugh. Let them out, even that helps to move on

Yeah, attitude is essential but ony successful when it is transcribed into a development or progression or materialisation.

The thing about tears is that sometimes there seems like there'd be no end to them if let out.
