Irish Music Thread

Irish trad is a broad church**, folks. Who remembers In Tua Nua in the mid-80s - especially this track? The violin sequence around 2:20 is still spine-tinglingly beautiful after all these years.

** Before Monsieur Beurres seizes on the opportunity, I don't mean an ecclesiastical organisation for women.

There seems to be a new wave of musicans, who have taken the music from the states that was influenced by the Irish, like Blues, Country and Rock, brought it home and put another Irish twist to it. Here are two of those bands at the moment

The Last Tycoons "Dry Law"

And The Cujo Family "Iceberg Slim"
