These awards are so special they only come around every 5 years. Ahead of our 10th anniversary Meet (October 16th) I thought I'd canvas ideas for our award categories.

Last time around we had ten categories but some of them were a bit hit and miss (as you'll see below) so this time I think we should have five. I've listed the awards in my order of preference but what's yours?

Firestarter is the person who starts the best topics and I can't remember what the Wanking In Work one was about

So pick your five favourites or better yet come up with some new categories.

we must have a proper "award" session for this (Any excuse for a piss up :P)

best newbie.. is a bit irrelevant for an award that is only givenb every 5 years
weirdest member could be seen as an insult... best topic would be hard out of 5 years of topics

sounds good.. if we could get an dea of numbers if would give you a better leverage for booking the entire room... I'll just throw this into the mix as well

the last friday is usually bear night upstears in nealons.. and also the Galas awards night is the 24th september

speaking of which... www.galas.ie if people feel like dropping by that site.. currently its open for nominations in various catagories, for example if people were so inclined to vote Dublin Devils in the best community organisation they could do so
or say International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival in the event of the year catagory they could also do that... any hoo I'm a bit off topic
