My claim to stupidity is that I withdrew 500 Euro today,put it in my jeans pocket,took them off and put them in the washing machine,after half an hour,I realised what I had done and went to retrieve my swag,my face turned ashen when bits of disintegrated red paper swum out,thankfully it was only a red serviette that had emeshed itself in my wad,my money was laundered and continues to dry atop my printer,I feel like a proper tool though,is anyone as stupid as me,have you done anything as or more stupid?

I went to the ATM - withdrew €50 then walked away without taking the €50 from the machine. When I remembered 10 minutes later and walked back it was gone

You'd be doing well for it to still be there after 10 seconds never mind 10 minutes!

Did you check with the bank? If it's not taken within I think 30 seconds the ATM sucks it back up!

Wow this thread totally applies to me!

This morning I was having cereal OK, and took out you know my sugar puffs, spoon, bowl, and of course my milk. So I poured my sugar puffs in, and added in the milk and started eating. Then I realised I had taken out the full fat milk instead of the low fat milk by mistake! Boy was my face red...such a moron.

Oh and I actually forgot to say this - in my LC English exam you know how the script pages have a sticky strip on them to seal them off? I accidentally glued my script to a page of the exam booklet. My face really was red then - had to rip a bit of my script off. Lucky I didn't ruin anything important.

Just got back from limerick, a city i know like the back of my hand.
Somehow i got confused on the new road out and ended up going through the tunnel,
which brought me out on the far side of the city.
Plus i had to pay tolls.

went on a date with a girl and didnt realise until a week later... was asked to buy sanitary towels but bought nappies instead... mistook tanning wipe for toilet wipe... split my palm open when cutting a sandwich using a double sided knife... buying the same dvd TWICE at the same time (at the time it was three for thirty - two were identical)... buying and watching Cabin Fever 2... mistaking apple juice for olive oil when cooking... i walk into lamp-posts a lot... getting the train to dublin for very important interview and forgetting to change at limerick junction...

ah that'll do enough for now... the rest is REALLY bad and i'm not sharing!

remembered another one - SCREAMED abuse at a driver who was trying to drive thru a red light when i was crossing the road - normally i'm really chilled but when i get angry i make the incredible hulk look like bosco - after screaming at him/her (i forget) and making them make apologetic hand gestures i walked on - two feet from the kerb i realised it was a Red Man not a Red Light... I didn't care - I was on my high horse by then

I know - I do dumb and stupid things - like my travel disasters

I accidentally threw out my passport while in Spain

I dropped my passport at home and nearly missed my flight cause I was halfway to the airport before I realised

I turned up 24 hours to the airport

I left my suitcase behind my cousins car meaning to put it in the boot - she thought I put it in the boot, I thought she put it in the boot, she reversed over it, we didn't realise until we got to the bus station - we drove back but it had been robbed

I was sending a text message and walked into a pole, I insulted my friends boyfriend not realising they were together, I laughed during a funeral and I am sure I will remember more.

I sent a bitchy mail to the peron I was bitching about.
