Recommend A Television Programme

I thought the first two episodes last year were pretty bad. Didn't watch the third though it might have been an improvement as it wasn't written by Brooker. They felt like they were written by a disaffected teenage boy.

I really like his articles and Screen Wipe but the man cannot do drama.

Well the first three were oversold, weren't they? As though they resembled a masterful combination of Isaac Asimov, J D Ballard and Roald Dahl. In reality, they didn't have anything remarkable to say nor did they occupy some new place in science fiction writing (or broadcasting).

But I think they were worth filming, especially the third one set mostly in a gym.

The first of the new series was a gently sad story of bereavement and coping. The pay-off wasn't to my liking but, again, I prefer to see channels invest in the risk of once-off dramas so I won't condemn it from a height.

It was OK. Probably would have been better keeping him as an app, the body thing took it a bit far

Dancing On The Edge is pretty awful. It's BBC's current prestige drama series. Stephen Poliakoff written and directed. Terrific cast, beautifully lit etc. But the script is a fright.

So my recommendation is: don't watch this. Not that you were going to.

I really enjoyed. I was very like Rachel at that age. Even wore the same horrible clothes.

Does anyone know if the New Normal is being shown on any of Irish/UK channels?

We saw is about three weeks ago on a Friday night but have not seen any listings for it and were unable to find it on Sky last week.

Sorry! It's watchable but the writing just seems to suck.

It's repeated also, so could be on that day.

Utopia finished series 1 in fine style last night.

Despite reports of poor viewing figures, I'm
pretty sure they will make a second series.
