Utopia was just brilliant. If it was any other show, all the constant (silly) twists and double-crosses would have annoyed me but it was all so entertaining that I didn't mind for a second. A second series is much needed, just to wrap up the Becky story. (I suspect that the Network will win anyway.)

I'm way behind with Utopia but I have it recorded - I might catch up at the weekend.

Utopia was quite good overall, though some of the middle episodes did not warrant more than an hour.

Penny: My Mad Fat Diary is excellent.

The second Black Mirror was absolutely awful. The first 5 minutes were suitably creepy but the rest was dull, the twist was amateurish. Bad bad bad.

I would be surprised if you all have not heard of Breaking Bad, if you have not watched it just do it it is the best tv I've ever wacthed and so addictive...

I'm up to date with Dexter too which is very addictive also.

Started The Wire Season 1 recently and already hooked... So much good tv around and it is mighty to be able to download without ads etc

I really enjoyed. I was very like Rachel at that age. Even wore the same horrible clothes.

I watched the first 5 episodes last night (going watch the last one tonight). Really loved it. Could also identify with Rae (despite not being a fat 16 year old girl), plus there are some great one liners in it...'he's an expert moisturiser of lady gardens'

Good to see you posting again

Breaking bad is great, im looking forward to the second half of the latest season, although it hard to like him at the moment.

The last season of Dexter was a big improvement over the seasons before it, it had sort of lost its way but its getting exciting again.

The Wire is fantastic, im thinking of starting it all again.
The sopranos was a great watch too, and game of thrones is fantastic.

Im watching the following at the moment and its pretty decent.

The second Black Mirror was really good, the best-realised of any of the episodes. It was deliciously horrible.

Meanwhile, season 4 of French crime drama Engrenages (Spiral) continues on BBC4. It's not the best season but it's still very good.

Netflix has season 1 to 3.

I was hooked from the very first episode of season 1.

Ugh I thought it was terrible. Like something a disaffected teenager writes for English class and makes everyone uncomfortable. Complete with silly twist. Although the worst part was not the show but the Internet idiots who claim it is brilliant because "this actualu could happen in a few years". Eh, no it couldn't.
