I really wish more people I know had read the books. It was quite a struggle hiding what happens to Ned. And now I'm trying to keep quiet about the amazingness that happens in Books 2 and 3. But especially in Book 3!

@ Cosmo, there are reports of similar reactions from newbies across the internet. I read this on AVClub - "If you stop watching then the Lannisters Win"

Don't worry, there's not a chance I'm waiting 42 weeks to find out what happens!

I was a bit shocked, just finished watching it now, but im also glad that they are not doing what many shows do by getting bogged down with one or two good characters. A good show moves at a good pace. I am sad to see him go though, he was a great character. Im glad i did not read the books so i do not know what is coming up. I hope no one who has read the book gives any spoilers either, and if they do they should make it clear outside of using the spoiler function first so that people dont presume they are only talking about the latest episode.

I have eps 8 and 9 to watch probably tonight, by the look of the spoiler activity something major happens, intriguing, that kind of ruins it. When there is a twist and you know there is a twist. Serves me right for opening this thread.

I have convinced myself he is not dead, I am thinking he could be back in some way. I thought the character was weak anyway, his wife seems to have better judgment then him.

Oh My. The twist of fate in Blondy pigtails and her dragon eggs is now getting most my anticipation. I wonder were that will go. I am glad I never read the books.

Its a good series. Nice to have something different on.

The thread is book-spoiler free! I'm hoping they make it across the see siib. Would be some epic fight scenes! Though with this witchcraft-baby-dragon thing going on, it'll probably go in sine completely random direction.
