Ahh but they are wrong a singer is not solely judged on her voice. The voice is important but not as important as the expression. Shane Mc Gowan has a terrible voice but a great expressive performing voice, he almost acts the song as do other great performers. Christy Moore is another example. The same can be said for the great classical performers.
Britney has a nice xfactor voice its alright good for a jingle or something like that. The same can be said for a lot of pop performers and classical ones as well.
I think the point was that Britney's actual voice might be non-existent, or at least the product of electronic aids. I think Shane McGowan and Christy Moore belong in a totally different category. As someone used to working with classical singers, I'm fascinated by popular singers' voices and the sheer variety of tonal colours you find. For example, I admire Thom Yorke's singing, even though the very quality of it contradicts almost everything I normally appreciate in a voice.
LOL, Shaggy! Vultures is a good word!!
Notnew: Yep, I agree wholeheartedly!
