However I fail to see why I should be shamed and coerced in to paying some stranger
€1 for standing beside me nattering away on his phone while I wash my hands?
Why should I pay the scab?

Dispensing aftershave is a service i dont mind paying for but more and more Im seeing no aftershave etc being provided by these beggars,sorry "toilet attendents"
(BTW in my personal experience they are all black,hence the title,and i will personally flush the head down the toilet of anyone who accuses me of being racist.

Yeah I seen it there.ended back in 8-1-2007 and it wasnt exactly catering for what I want to speak about.It was a survey for whether people "liked" them or not

I want to know if people think we should be paying for this "service" and whether
people are noticing that the aftershave etc is no longer on offer.just freaking staring and glorified begging

I hate it, can't undertsand why this still goes on. And they could at least clean the toilets, but no, they're usually filthy!

I remember there were some toilet attendants, not black, doing this job, asking people to pay into a pot, if you wanted to go to the toilet, waaaay back in the 1970s and 1980s.

It's hardly a new thing, hence the term "Spend a penny".

That was different, you were paying for maintenance and those toilet attendants would charge a fixed price and keep the place clean. Not expect a tip for handing you a paper towell!

Good God I did'nt even realise they actually worked there. I just took him into a cubicle and let him clean it personally. Lovely Jubbly. I did not even pay him and he did not seem to mind. Next time I'll make sure I take a towel first
