Who Else Would Like Madonna To Play Dublin In 2012

# 1 : Sunday 23-10-2011 @ 18:35

Shortly in a week or two Madonna's website will be comfirming the tour dates & destinations for Madonnas tour in 2012. Israel & Italy have been confirmed but were hoping she will play Dublin as she never has played her before in solo. She did play Slane in 2004 but that was different material to her usual work. Mostly everyone else has given a gig here Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Kylie Minouge, Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton, Rhianna, Pink. Would be great if she played Croke Park or Marlay Park if she did come. She would sell out on O2 if it was just for one night.

I don't think there is anyone in the world that I would pay to stand in a field and watch. Maybe Abba.

She has been going since the 80's and she has only once graced her fans in Ireland with her presence. What a count.
I would love to see 1990 Madonna perform but i have no interest in that old English woman.

It's actually pretty bad the way that Madonna ignored (or snubbed) performing in Ireland for so long. Not that I would go to see her (I wouldn't) but actions speak louder than words.

So I couldn't really give a toss if Madge performs here next year or not.

I didn't even realise that. It is pretty shocking.

I mean I'd like to see her but I do not think I would pay. Like not even a tenner... unless she threw in a shift...

No worries - actually I think her chest is very nice. The rest of her body looks very bulky though.

Ciccone is going through a tough patch at the moment.
New York Daily News.

Madonna's older brother Anthony Ciccone is far from living in a material world.

In an interview with the Michigan Messenger, the 55-year-old opens up about living under a bridge in Traverse City for the past year.

"My family turned their back on me, basically, when I was having a hard time," said Ciccone, who grew up in Rochester Hills, Mich, the second of eight siblings including his mega-famous sister Madonna.

"You think I haven't answered this kind of question a bazillion times -- why my sister is a multibazillionaire, and I'm homeless on the street? Never say never. This could happen to anybody."

Ciccone had been working at his father's winery -- which sells "Madonna Wine" -- until he was let go over a year ago

Since then, he's been fighting for survival on the freezing streets in Michigan.

"You have no idea how gruesome it is," said Ciccone, who collects cans for money and relies on churches for food.

"You get nerve damage. That's the milder stage, in the severe stage you have tissue damage, that is when you lose parts of your body. I got frostbite on my feet last winter."

Ciccone's struggle is a far cry from his sister's luxurious life.

The superstar singer has homes in London, Los Angeles and her newly-renovated $32 million townhouse in New York City

It wouldnt break her bank to throw him a couple of grand even just to get back on his feet.. even if she hates him.. To think how filthy rich she is and her own brother homeless on the street

I might consider going to see her if she comes to Dublin and if the price isnt too exorbitant. Saw her gig in Buenos Aires on the telly and it looked great

Nah. The only person I really enjoyed was Ennio Marchetto, at the Olympia. He was brilliant.

Anything with music, nope.

Anything visual and funny, and indoors, possibly.

As this thread is on Madonna... on her treatment of her brother.
