Study the rules of the road and practice a lot with someone qualified.

Same advice as previous: study and practice.
And know the number of questions.

I found questions 1 to 18 so easy I stopped listening for the last 2 questions and gave random answers knowing I could afford 3 errors and had made none so far.
Then the examiner said: please turn over for the last 20 questions!

Best of luck My brother said that the CD of practise questions helped him more than the book when he was getting ready for the test.
Is it not just one book?

Maybe find someone to ask you the quedtions and to ask some to.
If you are not good at retaining info ftom book or dvd. you need to find how you best retain info.
Could be by games, puns, writing it, making it ryhthme.
If you do not know your prefered style of learning there is no magic wand.

make your own set of flash cards.
writing the answers is often a good way to commit things to memory
then practice with the flash cards.
shuffle often
