€80 quid a year, that's all? honestly men have it so easy, since Covid and hairdressers not being open I've probably saved about €190 a month

With the amount of care you gave to your hair is must have been in wonderful condition before lockdown, hopefully hairdressers will be open again come the end of May as promised!

What do you mean "must have been"? are you saying it must be in shit condition now? Avocado, eggs, honey mask and rinse it out with rice water once a week and do the ends every second day with olive and coconut oil and you get no split ends or frizzyness and have a thick head of hair so long you could plat into a rope and throw down a tower for prince charming to climb up

An awful lot of work, for a head of hair?

Why? I mean I have never met a man with a bald patch who said he loved it, to be totally honest I have never met any man who looked forward to going bald, if you all looked after your hair a bit more you'd probably have more of it

Loved my hair when I had it.
Did not mind when it was gone.
Nature is what it is.

I was growing my hair out pre-covid, just playing with it, seeing as there is a strong trend of baldness in the family and thought I'd like to at least glimpse at myself with a few truffles of hair before, most likely, losing it. It hasn't slipped away from me as of yet and while I've not yet taken the scissors to it, waiting until someone can do it properly, it's a bit of a pain - especially sleeping.

I don't know how people casually wear their hair about their eyes or in front of their faces either - just messy and distracting

How are things going over there? It must be some relief there's an end in sight.

Sadly I ain't seen an ''end'' in ages due to lockdown

Serious though - people are delighted that there is some movement towards some sort of normality or new normality. I have friends recently diagnosed with cancer and only able to call them on the phone is not good - not being able to see family (they live on the south coast) is not great either so any kind of relaxation of the rules is good

Debating either to let it grow, or shave it all off and it has got long now?

I would say shave it,or get a "mate" in your bubble, to cut it or style it
