Oops i realised its a Samsung Europa... i dont think that option is available. grrrr

Edit: Apparently this phone is 2.1 but it is possible to get 2.2 (with the tethering option) by downloading it on Kies.

So my next question is how do i download Kies. Baby steps please

Ye muppet

Hope you have the USB cable.
To install the latest version of Kies for the GT-I5500 handset:
1. Select the handset under Mobile Devices/Smartphones on the Samsung homepage. Then select Android OS Galaxy Europa.
2. Click on Support at the top of the page, and then select the Software tab.
3. Download the Samsung Kies file, and install on your pc system:
4. On the handset, in ‘Idle’ mode (‘home’ or main screen), select , è Settings è Applications è Development è USB debugging. Click OK to accept.
5. Select Kies and then click OK.
6. The phone will automatically be updated with the latest software version.

I have the exact same problem as this person who wrote:
After months of using my iPad 2 (iOS 5.0.1) to check my gmail, today I suddenly get an error every time I try to load the login screen. I am still able to load this page from my macbook. I can also login through the google homepage and then successfully navigate to gmail. However, every time I try to load the gmail login page by typing in "gmail.com", I receive the following error message:
"This page contains the following errors:

error on line 7 at column 12: AttValue: " or ' expected

Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error"

This error box is in pink and the rest of the screen remains blank. It never loads so that I can enter my username and password. I have tried rebooting the iPad in addition to deleting cookies. I have also tried using a different browser (safari and google chrome); however, I receive the same error message with both browsers. What is going on and how can it be fixed?

I found this when I googled the problem. What might be the problem? A virus? A systemic glitch?

Hey guys. I have a Samsung Galaxy Not 10.1 that is for my sister who's recovering from a stroke. She would like me to download my music collection (as we have pretty similar tastes) onto the tablet but I'm wondering just how to go about it?

Can I transfer my Apple iPhone music files onto the Samsung from my desktop computer or do I need some sort of software to do this? Thanks!

Posted this on a well known forum but got no response. Maybe you people can give me some ideas ?
I've got a HP Pavillion DVB6V laptop with a hp DVDRAM GT30L ATA blu ray dvd writer. Recently I've had problems reading disks. I can burn audio or video files but not read them. I've used Nero, windows media player and PowerISO. They all say the disk has been burnt successfully, but when I put it back in to read it, windows says 'what do you want to do with this disk ?' (i.e. as a cd/dvd or flash drive) Disks also won't read on other hardware, (dvd players, cd players etc)

I've burnt disks before and they can be read, I've looked online and can't really find any information that can give me a difinitive answer. I've reinstalled the drivers, updated them and still no joy. So anyone got any ideas or shall I just get a cheap external one ? (I don't really use my laptop portably)

Is your laptop under warranty? If it is you could ring HP for support.

When you burn the CD / DVD can you read it in another device, e.g. another computer?
