Gather about there folks. I'm in need of some major sympathy.. Had a Vitreous detatchment on Sunday Morning in the eye I had laser surgery on in April, as i bent down to load some groceries. Woke up this morning with an attack of Gout in my right foot & I have a tootache from two fillings I got last thursady (My Dentist did tell me I'd probably need a root Canal on it but, he reckoned about three or four months time)..

To say I'm feeling pretty shitty is an understatement..

Lay the sympathy & cooing words on thick ifn' it pleases you.. I'm starting to think the Universe hates me..

Gargle, hot water and salt for a few days and it'll sort it out.

For gout, bathe foot in very hot water for three minutes then in cold water for one minute, repeat as long as you can, also put a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and drink.

On a positive note. The vitreous detatchment did not take any of my Retina with it so, I'm not going blind, yet.. It did tear a blood vessel close to where I had the laser surgery though and cause another bleed.. I've been reading up on it & it can take between 3 months to a year for the vision to return to normal afterwards so, there's that to look forward to..

Sounds like a rough time alright. Is the vitreous detachment related to the eye problem you had a while ago?

Nah, that's a Vasectomy you're thinking of.. Vitrectomy is when they remove & replace the Vitrious Humour in your Eyeball.. For the crack n' all..

Apparently not.. It's an outpatient procedure.. I'm counting down the days to it..
