Some of you might be aware that I have posted before here about my dreams which often are seriously off the wall - but last night's has to take the proverbial biscuit.

Basically, I dreamt that I was in California, about late 1971. I was an unwilling (and unwitting) participant is a giant sociological experiment in a brutalist concrete and glass building nestling among the golden hills of somewhere just outside San Francisco. A young Cybill Shepard was in the dream as was 50s actress Lana Turner. There was also this super hot hunky bronzed guy with blond hair and a moustache but that's a rather sordid aside so I'll thankfully spare you the details.

Anyhow, like I said I was in this institute with a number of other people. All the furniture and decor was very early 70s "futuristic" with white moulded plastic chairs and bright orange and red carpets and the like. We were all invited to spend a weekend at this institute but the motives for our stay were unclear. One thing was certain: we were prisoners for the duration of the weekend and perhaps even longer.
The man who ran the institute lived in a huge metal cage at the very centre of the building where he toiled day and night by turning huge rotating wooden contraption. It was also clear that the intent of the institute was very evil...
Cybil Shepard was following everyone around. She was one of the drones of the institute. One minute she'd be happy, gregarious and witty, the next, when a nearby intercom phone beeped, she would be hypnotised and go into a trance like state.
