In my latest dream every time I tried to exit a building the door or exit shrunk down to a height so low that it was hard to get under it, then I "woke up" in the dream and tried to analyse why I was having such an annoying dream on such a theme.

I had a very strange / disturbing dream last night.

My grandfather (on my mother's side) passed away in 2002 shortly after I moved to Dublin. Last night I dreamt I was at his wake in his family home, however I knew nothing of it until I arrived to the house. There were cars parked everywhere so I knew something was going on. I rushed into the house to find him lying in the back of a hearse, in the front room, gasping for air as if he was on his last breath.

One poignant part of the dream was I put my hand against the window of this hearse and he did the same. I then woke up.

Seeing an empty hearse on the M50 this morning as I drove into work didn't help matters either as this dream really did freak me out.I was very close to my mother
and both her parents who have all since passed away, but they say that dreaming about your late loved ones is a sign that they're just checking up on you to see if you're ok. Or is that an urban myth?

Pneumonia. He was 87 and his health had been declining for a while.

Nah, I'm not afraid of dying. When my time is up, it's up!!

something like that is marmite. For me I don’t believe it. But for many they do. Decide yourself if you believe or not, and whatever your answer that’s cool... either they’re watching over you, or you’re keeping their memory alive

I'm not religious by any stretch but I do think family members that have passed on are together somewhere. I have had dreams about close family members who have passed on but it's been very seldom and nothing as disturbing as this particular dream.

I wouldn’t believe them, spirits don’t appear to close relatives, they appear to strangers, if somebody says they saw a close relative they are either delusional or they were dreaming.

I always have dreams of me being dressed em femme and then being with other women while getting our clothes dirty but we're all giggling and laughing about it. Don't know why.

My dad died in our house when i was 18 months old.. My brother who was 3 at the time went downstairs shortly after he died to inform my mother that dad had just been up in the room with him.. Would a three year old make this up..? I'm sure he payed me a visit as well but i was too young to remember..
