My Dentist Is A Sadist!

Know what someone told me?

I was told that dentists throughout Ireland are now retraining people how to brush their teeth and floss.

Did you get 'retrained' in this way?

So what's the latest method? Use the tongue scraper part on the teeth is it?

Fucking dentist doesn't open until eleven, and I'm in a bad way. Shiftless layabouts.

Hate having to make an unscheduled trip to the dentist - so scary!

Helen Walsh, Portobello Dental Clinic, South Circular Road.

She's a bit up herself, but she's a very professional dentist.

Booked into an appointment next week to get a tooth yanked. I won't miss this particular tooth. We were never really close.

Just spent a rather unpleasant 40 minutes practically upside down in the dentists chair as he worked to save a back tooth - bit strange smelling your own burning flesh and seeing the smoke rise from your mouth, but it was worthwhile as he managed to save it.
He told me 99.9% of dentists would have pulled it and also to expect quite a bit of pain due to the amount of gum removed for a day or two - currently consoling myself with an iced bun and a nice cup of tea

Sounds like an ordeal flamey, cant imagine smelling my own flesh burn... uugggh

My new dentist in Dublin is great - I have very mild hyperdontia, that's resulted in having some extra shards removed - had one out about 5 weeks ago, no pain what so ever (his aim is that while you may feel uncomfortable at a dentists, with modern medicine you should never feel any real pain) the follow up care was terrific too.
