I've been really lucky with my wisdom teeth (all 4 came down around the same time with very little problems besides one or two minor infections) but they seem to be cunts in general for a lot of people.

Had one infection.
Luckily there are no more problems. However if I got braces I would need to get them removed... too much crowding for the teeth to move otherwise.

dentists can give you a shot of valium. I had that done to me several years ago for the extraction of an impacted wisdom tooth. [impacted = stuck in the gum, with a nice abces to clear out first] - at his first attempt at pulling the tooth out, i freaked out so much i could not handle it [i had some personal stuff going on as well at the time], so the extraction was postponed. At the second attempt, i got some valium, and it helped.
maybe you can ask that from your own dentist?
best of luck.

Ha, I wouldn't mind.

Normally during procedures ill just focus on my breathing or look at what they're doing in my mouth via the reflection off their goggles.

Your face might be a bit swollen. Soup, jelly or ice-cream seem like a safe bet.

Holy fuck, that was traumatic. First one took seconds, second one was an horizontal tooth and it was welded to the next tooth. I could feel my nose twisting when he was pulling it out.

My dentist is the best but I still avoid him like the plague. Waiting for a checkup now. Think I will need about 4 fillings it's been that long since my last visit :-/

Didn't need any fillings!!! Will probably need a crown on a back tooth in a year or two though. Couldn't believe my ears considering its been 8 years since my last visit.
