I've been really lucky with my wisdom teeth (all 4 came down around the same time with very little problems besides one or two minor infections) but they seem to be cunts in general for a lot of people.

Had one infection.
Luckily there are no more problems. However if I got braces I would need to get them removed... too much crowding for the teeth to move otherwise.

dentists can give you a shot of valium. I had that done to me several years ago for the extraction of an impacted wisdom tooth. [impacted = stuck in the gum, with a nice abces to clear out first] - at his first attempt at pulling the tooth out, i freaked out so much i could not handle it [i had some personal stuff going on as well at the time], so the extraction was postponed. At the second attempt, i got some valium, and it helped.
maybe you can ask that from your own dentist?

Ha, I wouldn't mind.

Normally during procedures ill just focus on my breathing or look at what they're doing in my mouth via the reflection off their goggles.

Holy fuck, that was traumatic. First one took seconds, second one was an horizontal tooth and it was welded to the next tooth. I could feel my nose twisting when he was pulling it out.

My dentist is the best but I still avoid him like the plague. Waiting for a checkup now. Think I will need about 4 fillings it's been that long since my last visit :-/

Didn't need any fillings!!! Will probably need a crown on a back tooth in a year or two though. Couldn't believe my ears considering its been 8 years since my last visit.
