Takes up a load of space on the Iphone but still one of my favourite apps.

Great for listening to stuff I wouldn't normally listen to / download / buy.

Cool. Does it store loads of music when it's on wifi and keep it for later, or does it stream music over 3G?

If you're a subscriber you can have it that any playlists you make or listen to will play when you're offline too.

It's a good service but I don't use it enough to make the subscription count. I prefer building up my album collection on itunes.

*ducks in case Column or Ziggy the vinyl fetishists see this*

are there many here on Spotify? I am thinking of subscribing. I am on sound cloud at the moment which is not bad but mainly for listening to DJs and producers sets.

Sign up and try it out. There is a free service which has ads and limits how much you can listen to per month. If you like it, it probably is worth paying. I don't listen to it enough to warrent paying but know a couple of people that do and love it.

I really like Spotify at the moment. I'm building up play list of my favourite sub-genres and years.

It's really rejuvenating my old compilation-making habit that I had years ago when people used to listen to mix-tapes. No one makes mix-tapes no more.

Taylor Swift, who I loved, is a geebag.

She's removed all her music from Spotify.
