There are lots of gay interest groups where sport/fitness is involved like the Frontrunners and the Emerald Warriors. If that's what you mean.

Why are you bringing sex into this discussion?

Apart from the various gay sports groups which do very well I can't see a gay only gym succeeding. Or is it something else you are thinking of?

Some mainstream gyms barely survive - so can't see a gay only gym getting anywhere - and anyway who is going to ask the customers if they are gay and even if they say they are could they be believed.

If gay bars can't succeed there is little hope for gyms

I think Ireland is just too small and the scene too, I am struggling to find the word so I'll just say, 'kitschy' for a gay gym to succeed. In other places there are however gay gyms.
