Yeah pretty normal. Everything can seem overwhelming (e.g., procedures hard to remember) for the first few weeks in a new job.

Well I have had no complaints yet, but it is an entirely new system to me, I'm doing what I think I am suppose to be doing but as the job title was created for me I have no guidelines to follow, so my gut is working overtime.

Well would'nt the most sensible thing to do would be to ask your boss what he wants you to do or ask somebody.

Perfectly normal. I started a new job on Monday and even though the job was there before by someone else I'm still not 100% sure of my responsibilities.
