Anyone else get regular calls from those thieves in India? When one rang me this morning and got an earful before slamming down the phone, the cheeky bitch rang me back twice until it rang out, that's a new twist from these creeps.

For someone who is old enough to be a grandfather, what kind of music would he enjoy listening to? Nat King Cole? Billie Holliday? who would be seen as 'cool' in the 1950s/1960s?

My Dad was born in 1936 and I know he liked Dizzy Gillespie.

My uncle by marriage is a few years younger than him and kept an extensive collection of Beatles records.

Is Bexar County Jail famous for anything? (It is named in the lyrics of a song I was listening to earlier this evening, and I wonder if it is a random US county jail or is a specific reference or has a particular meaning. (The song writer says he never wrrites whimsical lyrics.)

Why does the Catholic Church still exist in this world? Better question why is the Catholic Church with all its history permitted to exist? If you actually think about it, it is insane.

It fufills a need, as long as that need remains and there is no other alternitive, it will remain. There is a lot of undeniable beauty among those who are Roman Catholic, sadly some of the ethos and dogma erode that and the more fundemental twist it into something less then loving. I'm sure it will remain, however without doubt there will be a reform. But when I wonder?
