To descale your kettle without buying those noxious chemicals!
Buy spirit/ white vinegar and boil a couple of times in your kettle!, rinse said kettle and boil with fresh water about 3 times. Organic and cheaper.!

PS: Buy a 5 litre container.............great cleaning product!

Vinegar has so many uses.
Before all these modern sprays for this and that, vinegar was used to fix or clean most everything.

What can it do?

As winter approaches don't forget that you too can make a snowman come to life by simply eating magic mushrooms.

Malt Vinegar, the kind you use on your chips is a by-product of Brewing.

Guinness and all the other brewers in the UK and Ireland had to figure out a way to get rid of the millions of gallons of vinegar it was left with, and preferably get people to pay for it.
Like any good business man worth his salt, they created a need for it.
They convinced people to put it on their fish and chips.

Vinegar is truly a wonder substance and great for cleaning.

Anyone know the best way to remove candle wax stains from a wooden table? I heard that it involved an iron and newspaper but I'm not too sure if that approach would work.

I'm also hungry for a bag of piping hot Macaris chips with salt and vinegar...

I've heard a brown paper bag and a warm iron to get rid of the wax.
Newspaper might leave an imprint (ink)?

Depends on the finish on the table, iron and newspaper will work, or iron and a rag. Slightly mister version would be hot plate and a rag. If the finish is a french polish this will be disastrous, but then so would a hot meal at the same table.
