I never liked New Year's Eve, then my daughter was born on same date, so now we love celebrating her Birthday..Hardly ever go out, much prefer to stay home with family..

There's supposedly an 80s themed party in Bigs that night, guy who is hosting it is a bit woolley though.

Haven't gone out for New Years in ten years. Hate it.

Me too,it usually results in carnage in town or my local.I`ll never forget
the NYE when we first got the really bad snow in Dublin, it went from clear skies to
nearly a foot of snow and freezing winds around 11.30pm.People who would have been
stranded anyway by lack of taxis and buses became frantic in the snow and there
were fights in town with bloke skipping cues to get their girlfriends (who were freezing in miniskirts) in to taxis.Wont somebody think of the children!!!!

So i`ll be workin that day and stayin in that night

I wouldn't go out in town on NYE as it would be manic with people and it's a completely overhyped day.

If there was a small party in someones house or something with more intimate with friends that would be great.

Oh Gordon cancelled the 80s party because he suspects the guy planning it could be a bit dodge. So thinking of doing a 'Not the New Years Eve' Party.

bigs can be like an intimate little house party but i totally forgot about the lack of taxis. We'd all have to sit it out in bigs

We will lock you in the cellar till the second. If I was you I wouldn't recommend going anywhere for New Years if you have to get a cab home, it's never worth it!
