Did You Have An Imaginary Friend When You Were A Kid?

Was reading this article today about creepy things kids say about their “Imaginary Friends” I'm sure most of it is just kids acting out fantasies but there's some bizarre stuff too.

Did you have any strange stories about your own or other peoples Imaginary Friends when you were a kid?

No... don't think I did. There was always so much going on in my house growing up (what with the shop and the farm and my dad and brother being in the fire service) that I wouldn't have really been alone to have one.

Think I have one now though . He's super hot and love anime. The perfect boyfrend really

Yep, I had no siblings till I was 6 and there were no kids near me. I literally had a troupe of them, even a bully.

As an adult though I often imagined the man I used to know called Colm (not the gaire one) was still a friend and would have imagined chats with him sometimes.

When I heard about imaginary friends on kids tv shows I remember trying to start to have one but it never came natural to me so it never lasted. We used to give the teddies and dolls proper personalities and voices though.

Hmmm that is stirring some memory in me but can't say I remember it. I remember when Alsa died and Alf kept imaging her everywhere and up to no good.

You would probably have been 3 when it happened so not surprising you don't remember.

I vaguely remember her from earlier when she had a bf called Murray or Mullet (possibly his nickname). She used to sing "there's a hole in my bucket" back then, or maybe Murray/Mullet did.

Anyone else remember?

Was around the time I broke my arm by a cousin falling backwards on me in school trying to catch a basketball on the green outside.

I also remember Sam and Celine. And Sam smoking "marijuana" as they put it.
