Gaire is 12 years now. Any funny moments on gaire that stick out to you? Mine has to be a blog where a certain poster stuck a pic up of a painting he did which really was a pic of a sunset he put through a painting app and of course the cooking with breastmilk thread.

you?

The fights in the early days were soooo bitchy - it wasn't to last though. Its all fun and games until someone loses an eye or stops posting as they case may be. The topics were more conversational then (if you can believe it) we had a weird click each response to read and reply to it thing going on. It was very similar to how Craigslist forums still are now.

We had some great posters in the first year.

Donegal Diva was chaos. Sidhbhra could be terrifying - her put downs were legendary. Kevsamo was an exotic foreigner into S&M. Tucker and Polbelfast were adorable. Mohiam would cut a biatch. Desmond was our first troll I think. Polomint and CTD were our first couple posters. Wheelie was and still is hilarious. Pipedreams was always valiantly defending newbies against the bitches. Merlin was kooky. Click Here had a lovely turn of phrase. Fetch took moderating seriously before anyone else. Butters was developing the first signs of madness. Rubberboy was our sex counsellor. Newgrange told us about couch surfing long before it became a thing. And for a short time Paddybear and James were the voices of reason in the maelstrom.

After that it becomes hazy I do remember that young guy who kept saying he was leaving Captain Caveman style !!!!

OH the great lesbian fallout (which saw the demise of the Sidhbhra powerhouse)! That was a chaotic time, lots and lots of backstabbing but some of us survived relatively unscathed.

I liked that feature Thomas, and still miss the scrolling banner text for updated topics.

I loved when newbies would argue with them or they would argue with themselves, pity April fools is gone, that would have been a good one Thomas or making us all have the same name and avatar for that day, but shh you didn't hear that from me
