Have you posted a new topic recently?
If not, why? Are you worried that it will die a death like many of mine,or is there another reason?

I worry about the shame of posting a topic similar to another topic. I believe you must be a master of some dark arts like the patent searches, mixed with Search engine optimisation, key words or have read the entire gaire back catalogue of topics. otherwise the stigma can unbearable tongue in cheek

I actually kinda agree - sometimes people can be very quick to shout "already a thread on this!!!!" and then link a similar thread from 3 years ago.

Not as bad as they used to be, there was one poster who would jump on even slightly similar topics.

A combination of what you said in your OP and what CB said. The challenge might help with that.

I think I've only ever started about 3 threads on here ever. I really don't care enough to start a new one/have the fear no one will contribute

People don't always read it but start picking it apart on typos and grammar and things. Just because they have nothing to say about the topic or because it make them feels good.
