How Often Do You Buy Clothes For Yourself?

# 1 : Friday 13-6-2014 @ 21:10

I've never really been one to buy new clothes all too frequently. I think my straight bro was given the fashion gene instead of me. But awhile ago I went through all my wardrobe and dresser - anything that was too small for me or that I didn't want anymore I gave away. It left me with very little. But now once a week when I get paid I buy a new item of clothing - it could just be a shirt, or a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, or even just some boxers or socks. I don't go crazy I wouldn't spend over 25 euro usually. I know it's kinda pathetic but I've started changing what type of clothes that I wear - it's given me more confidence. I'm slowly but surely building up a nice lil wardrobe for myself. But because I'm doing it bit by bit it doesn't feel like I'm spending a lot.

I go on a splurge once in a while - a visit to Hugo Boss a few weeks ago left me 600 quid lighter, since then its been a few t-shirts

When holes appear, shoes fall apart and I am bulging out of them.

You must be quite the stylish man; I wouldn't know where to start in Hugo Boss.

I find jeans really difficult to buy, was such a relief when chinos became popular.

I'm a pretty easy size - 34 / 34. I have a pair of work jeans, a pair of casual jeans, and a pair of going out jeans. I hate spending loadsa money on jeans I always try and find a good bargain. I don't mind as much with tops and shirts but it pisses me off spending over 70 on jeans.

Unless you are a tailor, clothes make the man.

What we wear affects how we perceive ourselves,
and how others see us.

Hmm you're bigger than I thought, I always imagined you were very... twinkish. I'm a 34 aswell and a 32 leg. Ideally would like to get back to a 32 waist. I've started to go out dressed very casually the past year or so, I don't really know what guys wear to "dress up". Well actually in winter I'm fine cos I've lots of nice ralph lauren jumpers but in summer I'm lost. My sister loves fashion but apparently only for herself... I thought straight girls loved dressing men Are there any stylish shopoholics on here that could dress me????
