You can count the amount of time between my first post and that one, proving it wasn't an knee jerk example of pure gaseous wit and that I had at least that much time from seeing the topic title...

The ads are mostly health or diet oriented - seeing as women are mainly percieved as the primary focus for those aspects and perhaps stereotypically aligned with the markets leading buyers (I wonder what statistical support there may be) it doesn't seem to far fetched to find that most of our adverts are as sexist as they have always been - however just slightly less obvious.

Lidl have a champagne custard and rhubarb yoghurt that my mother loves. It is delicious but a little too rich to eat every day.
