Sandwiches

I am really fussy when it comes to a sandwich, I don't like too many fillings and it has to be symmetrical. I rarely get a sandwich from a deli because the often overload the bread or there's too much of one ingredient in one part of the sandwich.

My favourite sandwich is a bagel with cream cheese and thinly sliced smoked salmon. Or the Munchie Brunchie from Munchies.

So what's your favourite sandwich?

I do love a cream cheese and salmon bagel myself.
My sandwich of the moment is a rustic bap, carved turkey, egg mayo, mozzarella cheese, roast beef and sundried tomatoes.

Sounds manky but it's nice

My sandwich of choice used to be a chicken whoopie from munchies but I replaced the regular tomatoes with sundried tomatoes and the lettuce for mixed leaves and the bread for tomato bread. So basically very little of the "chicken whoopie" was left but it seemed the handiest way to explain it at the time If they're available I will never pass up on sundried tomatoes. Superquinn deli does a nice open ciabatta now: sundried tomatoes, somesort of green pesto and mozzarella cheese, all melted under the grill of course.

I like wraps that I make myself.

Just had some for dinner, filled with cherry tomatoes, Portuguese ham, freshly grated Italian cheese, raw sliced mushrooms and spiced up with my signature "sweet lava" sauce. (A burning concoction consisting of extra hot chilli flakes mixed in with olive oil and honey, to make a sweet but tongue meltingly hot thick sauce. When I say thick I mean almost solid.

It's a fucking killer! But my original lava sauce is better, no honey but cinnamon instead.

I love O'Briens sausage sandwiches, brown bread, heated sausage and some brown sauce.

I'd most likely grab a cheese and onion or cheese and ham sarnie

With a pink or yellow smoothie and a generous helping of giggling at the counter

Little dainty triangular sandwiches you get at funerals and graduations and the like are my all time fave, especially egg mayo and onion

Not a ghost of a chance, sounds ghastly. Instead of a spud dinner tonight I had a toasted brown sandwich of lamb, red pepper and whole grain mustard, felt like a full meal.

I am a plain Jane when it comes to sandwiches. I don't like any lettuce or tomatoes or any other sauces in it. I usually only have turkey and aham or toasted ham and cheese sandwich.
