Windows 10

Has anyone here upgraded to Windows 10 and if so have you had problems with it? I upgraded some months ago. The first thing that went wrong was that Microsoft Edge stopped working soon after I tried to attach a document to an e-mail I was trying to send. That didn't bother me because I could use Chrome.
Now, however, all of a sudden, saved video clips won't play and there is no sound on any streaming video clips. I have checked the programs and all are the most up to date available and when I check the control panel everything is on.
Are there any techies here who might know something about this. I've looked at on-line forums on the subject but I don't always understand what they are saying.

I have Windows 10 and I never had those problems. I used to have a problem of the start menu not working and a message promptng me to logout coming up instead. I resolved it by reinstalling Windows 10. Have you tried that?

I updated last week, I can't see other XP/Windows PC on network, can't find fix.

I had a problem with the sound, it was set on screen, went into sound settings deleted other options and set it to speaker, no problem now.

10 is very glitchy.
The initial release was done before the os was ready.
Each time they do a patch or update it seems to fix one thing and then cause a raft of new issues.
Two thumbs down.

I did a fresh install of 10 on a pc which previously had 8.1 installed.
All my software and games benchmarked slower, so I went back to 8.1

I managed to sort out the problem. On settings I found a function that enabled me to update the whole system. It took over an hour but now everything is working again including Microsoft Edge (although it seems I have to set that up all over again) I think, Gandalf, that what I did was almost like reinstalling Windows 10. I gather they refer to some of their updates as new "Builds".
