What do you think, should they not be allowed to begin till after 01/01/20.. and allow people to rest or enjoy the festive season. Share your thought, on the matter and do you have an issue with the time they begin?

The sales are a choice, my choice is not to go, but for people like Butters I'm happy that he found something that he likes at the right price.

I don't really understand why the sales have to begin today. Tomorrow - the 27th - is time enough in my humble opinion.

I would like a new chest of drawers to replace my broken down one. I wonder will they be cheaper now that it's the sales.

It's business and people are stupid. I took my mother in shopping today and I saw people ripping clothes off shelves in Brown Thomas. Idiots just looking at the price tag as opposed to the actual item.

I stay away from sales. Theres too many stupid people around and sadly I'd probably end up killing one or two

Why would sales stop you resting?
One of my online computer parts suppliers had a great sale in October. Did it give you restless nights and stop you enjoying life?

People don't have to go shopping by law?
If you want something, go out and buy it... If not, then stay at home.

You are free to choose.

People have to work in the shops though, I feel for retail staff at this time of year.

I am talking about the people, who have to work and not get a chance to rest from the three weeks of shopping prior to Christmas day. Give a thought for them, we can all wait till janruary to buy these things and surely shops can do th same with the sale time?

I agree, the sales and opening of shops, factory's hotels, pubs etc should be put off until the day after Stevens day. Allow family's to spend more quality time together, instead of rushing back to work on Stevens day.
