Switzerland in the heart of Europe, home of chocolates, watches and secret bank accounts.

Nobody has a problem with chocolate, watches or money from unknown sources.

Wow, you're very optimistic. People who do this stuff don't give a shit and they aren't likely to stop any time soon unless they are imprisoned and even then the brass neck on them lives on.

I agree. The source of the funds will never be discovered. I come from a country where you can hand a particular individual say €100k. For a 5% charge you can have that money paid into a bank account anywhere in the world or receive it in cash anywhere. It's a worldwide system. The company which transfers the funds on your behalf automatically goes bankrupt after 3 months, so is not required to file accounts etc. So from the ordinary guy with a small amount of money he can have an account in Liechtenstein, away from the State Tax Service and prying eyes.
Corruption exists at every level. Maybe that's why I choose to live in Ireland.....

Is Cameron going to survive this..??

Asked on Monday whether she could confirm that no family money was still invested in the fund, Mr Cameron's spokeswoman said: "That is a private matter"
Then in an interview on Tuesday, Mr Cameron said: " I have no shares, no offshore trusts, no offshore funds, nothing like that. And, so that, I think, is a very clear description"
Downing Street issued a statement later that day: "To be clear, the prime minister, his wife and their children do not benefit from any offshore funds. The prime minister owns no shares. As has been previously reported, Mrs Cameron owns a small number of shares connected to her father's land, which she declares on her tax return"
No 10 then released a further clarifying statement on Wednesday, saying: "There are no offshore funds/trusts which the prime minister, Mrs Cameron or their children will benefit from in future"
On Thursday the PM told ITV News: "We owned 5,000 units in Blairmore Investment Trust, which we sold in January 2010"

Above is a timeline of his statements, so he honestly expects us to accept the 5,000 units figure

First: at present, I have none. Then: in future I will not have any. Now: Ah so you meant "in the past". That yeah. They never tell a lie but never tell the truth!

I though the same. But now I also think he will not last.
But I am waiting for the other parties to be impacted: first they release info on the majorities, then when elections are called they will release info on the opposition parties. That is what I love with anarchist movements who are very organized! This will bring real change at election time when the only ones that are not affected will access power for the first time and finally be given a chance to enact revolutionary objectives.

It will be for good or bad (Sinn Fein, WSM, Front National, UKIP), but it will happen and stir people out of their comfort zone.

Being in the list means nothing. It is silly to do a witch hunt for people in that list just because the journalists are too lazy to investigate which investissements were legal and legitimate and which were tax fraud or evasion or optimization or else.
Lazy populism!
