How Much Time Do You Waste Each Day ?

# 1 : Sunday 8-5-2016 @ 19:49

How much time do you waste on watching mindless TV, playing pointless video games, reading mass-produced summer books, swiping matching games on your mobile, filling in grids after grids of the same Sudoku, falling for the most inane click-baits online, mechanically checking "social networks", drinking senseless, etc.?

Not all of the activities mentioned are necessarily wasting your time: there are films/books/(video)games/ etc. , that you may enjoy for reasons other than the passing/wasting of time.

So... What's the point of the thread then?
If somebody chooses to do something in their free time. How is that "Wasting time"?

The only time I consider wasted is when I'm hungover and it can take me days to get out of the bed.

Some people are aware that some of their past-times are frivolous and achieve nothing but waste their time. Recently a friend told me how relieved he was he had decided to remove Candy Something from his mobile, as he was using it as a way to specifically waste time, and he was aware of it but kind of addicted to it.

What you describe may come under "you may enjoy for reasons other than the passing/wasting of time" in the opening post...

Ahh... Just as I suspected.

You know exactly what the game is called. It's called Candy Crush.
Creating a thread on a forum where you try and sound superior/detached from 'the modern slave life' will not make you feel any better.

Just deal with your issues and forget about what everybody else is doing.
