"My continental friends". Yes darling. Eithne is that you?
This sounds like a prehistoric version of Pokemon Go, that lovely game that's currently getting people assaulted and even one killed.
I don't know how to play Pokeman go and yes, European friends as I don't know anyone or heard of anyone I know geocaching in Ireland or the UK.
I think it's more related to treasure hunting with maps and compasses which evolved with the advent of gps and becoming popular with smart phones than a kids card game based on a Japanese cartoon.
Most of the caches are micro caches such as a magnet, you just find it and log it into your app/account. The bigger caches are more rural and complicated it seems and I'm sure some assholes ruin them but maybe the original person is in charge of their cache? I dunno
I'll try it at the weekend.
