I nearly "called it" when I passed 40, thinking that it was the end of trying. But a pen and paper plan, maybe a bit too controlling but it worked for me, did the trick.
The problem, as always, is not returning to the "old way", and that can only be done with a plan that does not break all codes of the old ways, but works with them to improve them.
I was always a snacker, so it was not going to be viable to stop snacking: I had to switch my snacking patterns and modes of expression and directionality and content, without trying to snuff them out, or they'd have comne back with a vengeance. (And they sometimes still do)
