I used to think I knew what Eurovision fandom looked like until I followed @OttLepland, a superfan, on Twitter. So it turns out there are people who tweet about Eurovision all year round, every day, listening to Eurovision Radio all day and tweeting about old songs, rewatching old contests and commenting on every entry, cheering on their favourite acts and mercilessly bitching about whichever acts have become 'uncool' (Kristian from Bulgaria in 2017 is out of favour with some of the auperfans).
Oh I know lots of people worse than that! Not only do they go to Eurovision two weeks before the contest to go to EVERY rehearsal and party, they go to all the Eurovision events all over Europe all through the year..Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam, 2nd Cherry in London, Luxembourg, Portugal ect. They go to national finals in Romania, Sweden, UK ect...
It's full of really crazy fans!
