Do you reckon this is actually a well organized stunt designed to prove a point?

How many normal couples have married to avoid taxes or to get citizenship ?
But if the law ears about it they will be caught and it is illegal.

Normal couples, as opposed to Abnormal couples?

How do you avoid taxes by getting married?
I know if i was to marry my Girlfriend there would be certain tax benefits but we would still have to pay taxes, you don't just go tax free

So two friends living together in a house for how many years? The one who owns the house decides to marry the other one so he won't pay inheritance tax?
Apart from the fact that the owners friend would have established habitation rights in the house for his life is a good will what they need or to get married given that they don't meet t hed conditions to get married.

What habitation rights would have been established?

Cohabitation rights in the law are for people who are in committed and intimate relationships.

They shouldn't have told the whole world about it. Now the revenue commissioner's know their plans.
But other than that I think it's a great idea

It's a mess
He has 3 children ! And it's his carer!

Are you ethically allowed to have a beneficial " relationshiop with the person you are caring for?

inheritance laws ? His future husband wouldnt get everything as his three children , his heirs would get a share.

I know house prices have gone up in stoneybatter but ?

He's 85 if he lived to 100 that's 15 years of live in care and spousal responsibility , is that worth a share in a Dublin house?
