Good Places To Meet New Mates In Dublin

# 1 : Thursday 8-2-2018 @ 15:43

I’m moving to Dublin shortly and no absolutely no one, which makes it a bit more awkward.
Hoping that there’s some decent way to make mates/connections etc , as don’t fancy standing in the George on my own!!
I know there’s Grindr and stuff, but any advice is very much appreciated!!

Do you have any hobbies? I am sure there are some local groups that you could join.

I'd love to head tomorrow night for a drink, but I'm pretty much the same in that I know nobody in Dublin. There is LGBT meetup on meetup.com you could look into them.

Almost every time I go out in Dublin it's on my own.

Why not join a club, if you're interested in meeting gay people, there are gay rugby, running, athletic and even a book club, check GCN or outhouse or Google for their contact details.

Do you like Drama, join a Theater Group or a Dance group and maybe a few Gaireans here might join you?

Sorry I should explain.
What I mean is almost every time I go out in Dublin, I willingly go alone. It's how I prefer to go out and there's nothing wrong with being in a club without "a wingman" or whatever.

Do you really want people to go through your spellaging and usage in the Brexit thread?? It'd take a while.
